Sarah Carestia explores the influence of textiles on space.

Guided by a dialogue between her body and the loom, she creates flexible weavings halfway between textile panels and movable partitions.

Suspended freely in architectural spaces, her works alter spatial dynamics and invite new exploration. Her creations play on the duality between showing and hiding, sculpting levels of transparency through vertical stripes and primary colours.

Through her work, Sarah creates spaces in constant metamorphosis, revealing the multiple facets of our relationship with the built environment.
